I love these pictures!!!! Kevin did you say this is a sort of rescue/sanctuary? Can these birds be adopted or is this their forever home? The first one looks just like my Snicks and the second one whatever it is is beautiful!

hi gardengail, you can give money towards the birds but i believe you cant adopt to take home, they are there for life. the saddest group have got to be the greys, as they have all picked up strange beeping, bopping and mobile phone sounds, they all seem happy enough and you have the plucked ones.

ooooh the hyacinth's, very stunning birds they always look kinda comical but these two seem so gentle, i believe they are about £8000 - £10000 for a single and near £18000 for a breeding pair, IF you could find some, they are not talked about over here much due to the fact that if it was known you had them, you would more than lightly get robbed.

Wow, fantastic photos! Beautiful colors and nice close-ups. I think #8 is a Crimson Bellied Conure.

you might well be right theexbirt, as his wings were green, you are right laura it is a Crimson Bellied Conure, i just remembered it was some sort of "red"
luckily they didnt let the emu's out, i think there were too many people there for the emu's to roam about :) it has been fantastic weather here this weekend something around 20 degreesC what ever that is in real money :D
