All of mine wash in the drinking holder....
As you say Scooby-doo just gets his beak wet and
thinks he is wet all over..
My girls do get wet all over....

My male spectacled refuses to bathe, and hated being misted. I had to keep persisting and now he quite enjoys it!

The spray bottle is good as parrotlets don't "bathe" like our conures do!!! drats     They're lucky if they get the ends of their beaks wet, whereas the conures plunge right in       rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl

Did the cage come with the birds Rebecca?

It looks like it may be a bit rusty, rust is very toxic to parrots. If it is rusty you probably won't be able to clean it up well enough & may have to get a new one if you can afford it. I am looking for a new cage at the moment as my old one is going rusty & once the rust starts I've never been able to get rid of it completely  eek

Anyway, how tame are they? Can you get them to step up onto your finger? Can Jerry grip with his feet? He seems quite happy in the photos, birds adapt very quickly
They are fairly tame. Ben, the bigger one quite readily steps up and is sitting on my shoulder as I type this. Jerry can grip my finger with his feet but is a little more nervous, but also settles with me after a few attempts.

When I started spraying Squeak I sprayed more water onto the bars of the cage he would then go mad rubbing himself all over the bars getting himself damp. Remember that unlike a lot of parrots Parrotlets don't seem to like to get soaking wet they prefer to be just a like damp also make sure there are no drafts and the it is warm when you spray them and never do it last thing at night as they need to be dry before roosting for the night.

here are some damp Parrotlets
